About the role and your tasks

In your daily work, you are part of the everyday life of elderly people and work to support them so that they can live as meaningful, independent, and active lives as possible.

We offer you a varied job where you make a difference for others every day. We have no split shifts, and our full-time measure means you get more free time in your everyday life. With us, you have the opportunity to grow and be stimulated, for example, through different roles, responsibilities, or training.

Your work is guided by the needs of individuals. A workday may consist of providing support and assistance with personal care, care work, medical interventions on delegation from a nurse, and other assistance that the person you support needs help with. Documentation takes place in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the business and maintaining good quality.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you work either day or evening. We are looking for people who will currently work in the evening. Working hours are until 10:45 PM at the latest. You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes a week.

We are looking for you who

• are a trained nursing assistant.
• Experience in similar work, for example, in elderly care, is an advantage.
• To work in home care, cycling experience is required, and in some areas, a B driver's license is also required.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required in both speech and writing.
• You also need to have good digital skills, for example, in connection with documentation.

You are responsible, committed, flexible, and attentive - with users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is for each individual to be involved and have influence over their everyday life.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must have proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several geographical areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health and medical care staff under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area has a unit administrator and coordinator. We offer service, care, and home health care interventions around the clock to the municipality's users. The home care's fine premises are located on Mobilvägen. Here you will find a restaurant and access to a gym in our pleasant modern premises. Here we work together under the same roof; nursing assistants, manager, administrator, and health and medical staff. We have weekly meetings and training together in the team. It is easy to get here by bike, car, bus, or tram. The users are in the local area, and we reach them by bike.

The goal of home care is to carry out assignments with high quality based on individual needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain in their own home.
