About the Role and Your Responsibilities

The work involves both planned, regularly recurring efforts, as well as more urgent interventions such as acute assessments and other tasks that need to be resolved during on-call hours.

The patient group primarily consists of elderly citizens in the municipality, but the area of responsibility also extends to the municipality's LSS operations and home care for younger individuals (18-65 years).

Examples of tasks you will encounter include acute assessments according to A-E, palliative assessments and deaths, catheter problems, tube feeding with a nasogastric tube, contact with Falck and Mobile Care Teams, guidance for nursing staff, telephone advice, as well as handling various infusion equipment and dialysis (both peritoneal and machine dialysis).

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has worked for a few years in the profession. Experience in municipal care and support is an advantage.

You listen, communicate, and resolve situations in a constructive manner. Your commitment to working with people is strong, and your approach is pedagogical and kind. You have the ability to work independently and make decisions based on your own assessments and decision support. Experience in an independent position within the profession is advantageous.

We particularly value that you are structured and meticulous in your work.

You express yourself fluently in the Swedish language, have good knowledge of digital work tools, and possess a B driver's license.

About the Workplace

All licensed staff are part of a team-based health and medical care organization, focusing on collaboration, education, and development, where efforts are coordinated and planned together. Within the health and care administration, there is a centralized organization of nurses who work evenings/nights and provide services according to HSL to patients in home care, LSS, and in our special accommodations. The guidelines of the Care Handbook are our guiding star, and we prioritize good staffing.

When working nights as a nurse in Lund Municipality, the working hours are 22:00-07:30, and the working time measure is 34.33 hours/week for full-time.
