The Department of Lung and Allergy Diseases at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) is one of the largest operations in the country within pulmonology and allergology, with excellent opportunities for specialist training and research. Currently, we have 40 permanently employed doctors in the department, of which 5 work exclusively at our asthma and allergy clinic. All types of allergic conditions and complicated asthma requiring immunological treatment are investigated and treated within the department. We who work at the asthma and allergy clinic have different base specialties and we are open to new combinations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a resident doctor in allergology who wants to join us in developing the operations!

You will work under supervision at our allergy clinic. Much of the work is carried out in teams with treating nurses and staff from other professional categories. The department conducts extensive research and has a well-developed operation with clinical trials in several areas.

The position offers great opportunities for independent research. Work is based in Lund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. For residency in Allergology, a previous base specialty is required (see SoS broad list of possible base specialties). For all positions, proficiency in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is required.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is confident in their professional role and has a high degree of flexibility to adapt to the work's conditions. You can plan and prioritize your work and have a good ability to work in a team as well as ease in independent work. We also see that you possess good collaboration skills and have an interest in research.
