Then we can offer you a position where you will receive a full monthly salary during your studies. After completing your education, you will start your specialist position in the intensive care unit at Södertälje Hospital. During the summer break of the education, you will work in the intensive care unit as a nurse.

The Intensive Care Unit at Södertälje Hospital is a general intensive care unit that receives patients from the hospital's various departments such as medicine, surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. In the intensive care unit, we also care for intermediate care patients and during on-call hours, we conduct recovery operations.

As an intensive care nurse with us, you need to work well in a team and have good collaboration skills while enjoying working independently. Your qualifications:

Requirements:
- Licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a nurse.
- You must be able to present an admission letter for studies to become an intensive care nurse starting no later than the autumn semester of 2025.

Employment form:

Permanent employment. You start with a paid specialist training that then transitions to a position as an ICU nurse within the 24/7 agreement.

As a nurse within 24/7 operations, a working time agreement is applied with the possibility of a retention bonus (in time) and shortened weekly working hours for night work. If you work compressed weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out as time off, money, or pension contributions.
