About Us

The LARO unit at Capio Maria Beroende is an outpatient clinic where we provide medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence. We work with voluntary, specialized addiction care for individuals over 18 years old.

We are at the forefront of treating our patient group and work with differentiated and person-centered care interventions. We are divided into two clinics, one focusing on harm reduction interventions where we offer treatment for hepatitis C, overdose prevention, and where significant emphasis is placed on coordinated efforts, together with social services and other healthcare partners. This is to ensure that our patients achieve the best possible quality of life. The other clinic focuses on rehabilitative interventions where we work together with the patient and with coordinated efforts from social services and other healthcare partners towards set goals. Those of us who work here are nurses, specialist nurses, caregivers, and specialist doctors with extensive experience in LARO care. Our mission is a comprehensive commitment to patients that includes psychosocial and medical treatment, coordination, and planning of support and care interventions.

Your Role

As a nurse, you share patient responsibility with specialist doctors for your own patient stock. You meet patients individually and in groups for support and treatment. On a daily basis, you work with supervised distribution of narcotic medications.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with an interest in providing good care based on a humanistic value base where knowledge, collaboration skills, and empathy are natural elements. Further education in psychiatry and district nursing as well as Step 1 training is meritorious. To broaden our care offerings, we would like you to have experience or further education in primary care or infectious diseases.

As a person, you are motivated, engaged, and independent, and you are used to working towards set goals. Since you meet many patients living in social exclusion with a high degree of psychiatric comorbidity, your ability to provide a good reception is essential. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills – we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is full-time at 40.00 hours/week, with some daytime weekend work included. Part-time can be discussed. Start date according to agreement.
