We are now looking for a new employee for the power supply unit within command system materials. In close collaboration with the team at the unit, you will have the opportunity to influence both detail and overall aspects of projects that strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces and Sweden. Your work is significant at every step, from needs and ideas to delivery and follow-up.

About the position

As a project manager in the power supply unit, you will plan, lead, and follow up on project work that often involves the procurement of complex products and systems. It is your responsibility to ensure that the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and according to agreed quality. Furthermore, you will be responsible for project economics, procurements, and communication with stakeholders and suppliers.

You will also analyze, evaluate, and report on the project's progress and provide suggestions for decisions. We are looking for someone who, together with your colleagues and our partners, wants to create, manage, further develop, and procure systems and products that contribute to making Sweden and the world safer.

The position is based in Stockholm. Travel in the role occurs within and outside of Sweden, but mostly domestically.

About you

We are looking for someone who is educated as a civil or university engineer, system scientist, or has equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have several years of relevant and current experience leading relevant projects with project members. You have experience in negotiations and good knowledge of project management. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in the technical field. If you have experience in risk management within projects and experience using project planning tools like MS Project or similar, it is a benefit. It is positive if you have experience in public procurement, but it is not a requirement for the position.
