JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking three preschool teachers for our preschools Grimman and Skeppet in Teleborg, which together with Vikaholms preschool form a whole. We work based on a common operational plan, while each preschool adapts it according to its unique focus. At Grimman, the operation is permeated by a year-long theme based on the world of fairy tales. The fairy tale serves as the foundation for our work, which follows the curriculum with a special focus on language, communication, interaction, and trust in children's abilities. At Skeppet, we work thematically with new themes each school year, aiming to spark children's curiosity, interest, and engagement, thereby strengthening their communicative abilities and self-belief.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will conduct teaching based on research and proven experience to meet the goals and intentions of the curriculum. You will implement education so that care, development, and learning form a whole, and design education and teaching based on promoting each child's development and learning. Together with your team, you are responsible for creating playful and exploratory environments that ignite children's curiosity and foster their learning. You will also be responsible for systematic quality work, planning, documenting, following up, evaluating, and reflecting individually and together with colleagues on education and teaching.

Children learn through play, and play is a fantastic tool for learning in various playful contexts. Through play, we can address the entire curriculum and its areas. Children learn and develop together with other children and educators. By acting as playful educators, we gather material to further develop children's education.

We strive for our preschools to be a place where both young and old can feel a sense of community and develop into their best selves. Our preschool should be characterized by an approach where children have a central role and are given ample space. Children should experience a daily life in our operation that is safe, fun, and educational. Our environment should be welcoming and offer places for meetings where children can develop their creativity, imagination, and independence. We focus heavily on our interactions and our approach to guardians, colleagues, and children.

The positions consist of a permanent position at Grimman and one at Skeppet, as well as a temporary position at Skeppet until the summer of 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher certification and feel comfortable in a leadership role. You value the meeting between people and treat everyone in a professional manner. We also value good organizational skills and that you are solution-focused.
