We are now looking for a temporary preschool teacher, with the possibility of extension, for our already teacher-dense operation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the entire preschool's mission - with the child at the center.

All families are welcome to our preschools, regardless of background and beliefs.

We are located in four places in Växjö - Kompassen in Väster, Klippan in Hov, Maria in Hovshaga-Hov, and Källan in Teleborg. The temporary position is at the Maria preschool.

We apply Växjö municipality's queue system, rules, and fees for our preschool operations.

Next to the children, our staff is our most important asset. We place great emphasis on staff being well-educated, but also on their personal qualities. We also strive to maintain a high staff density.

At Klippan, Kompassen, and Maria, we have meals prepared from scratch, while Källan receives its meals delivered from our own kitchen at Klippan.

Our kitchens are KRAV-certified, and we use at least 60% KRAV-approved ingredients. This commitment to sustainable development is a given for us at Kristen Förskola.

At Kristen Förskola, our entire operation is permeated by our Christian values. We convey joy and security to each child by showing them concretely that they are unique and valuable.

We want to provide children with a stable foundation and values that last throughout their lives.

Our preschools are preschools with confessional elements. This means that we incorporate elements of a Christian profile in our education.

The work at our preschools is based on the curriculum (Lpfö18).

Our preschools are characterized by a pedagogy where care, nurturing, upbringing, and learning form a whole. We want to highlight children's creativity and joyful learning.

Our systematic quality work (SKA) is based on our working model where the board and principal determine the prioritized goal areas for the school year.

Each department then conducts an assessment of the current goal area, based on which they choose which curriculum goal to focus on.

Throughout the school year, documentation, reflections, and analyses of children's learning are carried out to provide the best conditions for the children. At the end of the term, an evaluation is conducted, which then forms the basis for continued work.

As a preschool teacher with us, you are an important part of the team’s mission to conduct teaching based on Lpfö18. The work as a preschool teacher is varied, and your most important task as a childcare worker with us is to be close to the children and follow their day to support them in their development and learning. We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills as we work in teams, who is flexible and has a positive outlook, ready to meet the child with respect for the competent child. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
