Coop Finspång is one of Sweden's 25 consumer cooperatives. We are owned by 22,700 members and operate 4 Coop stores within the municipality of Finspång: Stora Coop (+ a gallery with 14 external stores), Bergslagshallen, Östermalmshallen, and Coop Rejmyre. We also run a restaurant, bakery, and café, as well as an online store. The association has about 100 employees.

In recent years, Coop Finspång has focused on developing the stores and creating a work environment where both customers and employees thrive. The association has a strong market position, stable finances, and a clear commitment to the local community. “Coop for Finspång” is an important part of our communication where we show that we, as a cooperative, give back to the local community and are owned by the residents of Finspång.

As the CEO of Coop Finspång, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with a competent and dynamic team. We are a member-driven organization characterized by a positive and inspiring environment where we feel appreciated, motivated, and engaged.

As CEO, you have the overall responsibility for leading and developing the business in accordance with the board's vision and strategic goals. You organize and drive operations based on the business plan, budget, policies, and guidelines. You will have overall responsibility to present the company's results and status to the board, as well as proactively develop strategies and proposals for its continued development. You are passionate about creating positive and long-term customer relationships. You build your employees, their skills, and engagement so that together you can continue to build steadily from the platform the association stands on today.

To succeed in this role, you have experience in a leadership position with budget and operational responsibility, preferably within retail and/or the supplier side. We place great importance on personality and are looking for a person with self-drive, excellent leadership qualities, and a strong ability to build relationships and network. You are a business developer with the ability to analyze a situation from different perspectives. You also have an effective working method, the ability to plan for the future, and are a strong executor. Having local ties and a sense of community engagement for our area is highly meritorious.
