About the Unit

The Stril Defense Company is responsible for the security of the Stril Battalion. The main task of the company is to protect the battalion's fixed command and control facilities and mobile systems against security threats. The company performs this by indicating, locating, identifying, and counteracting intelligence gathering against the battalion's fixed facilities and mobile systems. This is done within the framework of security unit service, using dogs and technical sensors. The company carries out intelligence tasks through reconnaissance but must also be prepared to defend the command and control facilities. The company conducts continuous training activities and live operations.

About the Position

The company staff is looking for a quartermaster who, together with a logistics assistant and technical manager, forms the logistics function. The logistics function focuses on ensuring that the company's operational activities run without limitations. In addition, the logistics function supports during exercises and in production. War planning will occur. Much of the work consists of problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the company commander within the logistics function.
• Follow up on the company's material status in the support systems PRIO and LIFT.
• Responsible for the company's work with MFO and AFO.
• Responsible for the company's infrastructure.
• Responsible for the company's purchases.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed GMU or military service with a passing result
• Approved specialist officer exam
• Driver's license B

We are looking for someone who easily collaborates with others and can also solve tasks independently. You are stimulated by new challenges, take initiative, and take responsibility. The work requires you to be flexible, accustomed to planning, and good at prioritizing to carry out and complete tasks. You are meticulous and have a sense of order.

Meritorious

• Military driver's license
• Driver's license C
• Familiarity with material handling in the PRIO and LIFT systems
• Previous experience in logistics within the Armed Forces

Uppland Air Wing, F 16, is headquartered at Uppsala garrison. The unit is part of the Swedish Air Force and is responsible for the operation and surveillance of Uppsala Airport as well as training conscripts in various positions within the Air Force. The unit also leads the 161st Command and Control and Air Surveillance Battalion, which directs combat aircraft in the air and maintains constant surveillance of Swedish airspace.
