Grant Controller at International English School (IES)

Responsibilities
As a Grant Controller at International English School, you will have a central and coordinating role at our headquarters in Danderyd. You will become the "hub" of the operation when it comes to handling, coordinating, and optimizing the organization's government grants.
You will have overall responsibility for collecting data from all our schools across the country, compiling the information, and ensuring that applications are submitted correctly and on time. The role involves frequent contact points and close collaboration with both HR, the education department, and the finance team. Additionally, you will take a seat in the organization's steering group for grants and external funds (e.g., EU grants), where you will have an important coordinating and presenting function.
Your main tasks:
- Coordinate and compile: Collect, quality-assure, and compile data for grant applications from all IES schools.
- Application process: Be responsible for the entire process regarding the submission of applications to relevant authorities.
- Steering group work: Actively participate in the steering group for grant management as a driving, coordinating, and presenting party.
- Internal collaboration: Act as a link and partner between HR, the Education Department, and Finance.
- Analysis and follow-up: Analyze data, keep a close eye on the numbers, and proactively identify development opportunities in our processes.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you are a person who loves order and structure, while being motivated by building good relationships. You are self-assured, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a coordinating role with many contact points. You have analytical sharpness, are development-oriented, and ensure that things are done with high quality.
Your qualifications:
- Education: Post-secondary education in economics, administration, or another relevant field.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant work experience in similar administrative or financial work.
- Project experience: Experience working in project form and driving processes forward.
- Systems and data: Very proficient user of Excel and accustomed to handling and analyzing large amounts of data.
- Communication: Administratively skilled with the ability to express yourself well both orally and in writing.
