Fahlströms Bygg was founded in 1982 and operates as a combined building materials store and carpentry firm.

The store is located in the heart of Valsjöbyn and offers a varied range of products within construction, paint, sheet metal, fishing gear, and more. We have a shop, timber storage, a carpentry workshop, and a sheet metal workshop. Currently, we have two carpenters working on-site, and we are now looking for more team members.

We are looking for two experienced carpenters for immediate employment.

As a carpenter at our company, you will work on a variety of projects, mostly for private individuals but also for businesses. Since the company is located in a rural area, we carry out many different types of assignments. This can range from fine woodworking, casting, and roofing to projects such as extensions, renovations, and new builds. The jobs vary in size. You will become an important part of the team and contribute to delivering high quality in every detail.

What we offer

Valsjöbyn is located approximately 13 miles north of Östersund, with beautiful views of the Norwegian mountains. The area is best known for its fantastic fishing waters, but it also offers much for nature enthusiasts or anyone who simply desires beautiful views and plenty of space. The village has a school, grocery store, building materials store, a campsite with food service, and an active summer pasture with dining during the summer. In winter, there is excellent snowmobiling with nice trails leading to ice-safe waters.

Valsjöbyn is a growing community where a young generation is taking over. It offers a safe place for parents to let their children grow up. There is a strong sense of community, close proximity to nature, and an active club life.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience as a carpenter (preferably with vocational certification)
• Are responsible, proud of your craft, and solution-oriented
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Hold a B-category driver's license

Meritorious qualifications

• BE-category driver's license
• Experience with sheet metal work
• Swedish language skills
