Do you have a passion for technology, an interest in facility maintenance, and the ability to collaborate effectively? We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician for facility technology at USÖ.

The Property Department is responsible for the management, operation, and construction of Region Örebro County's properties, covering approximately 500,000 m². Our main task is to care for our properties, ensuring that the premises are functional and purposeful. We achieve this through business and technical adaptation or by creating new premises or buildings. Our tenants are primarily healthcare operations, which implies a high level of technical complexity and requirements for connectivity, functionality, and flow.

Together, we are approximately 160 employees, of different ages and with varying experience. Our employees are driven, engaged, and possess high technical competence. The work group at USÖ currently consists of 18 employees and a unit manager.

Job Responsibilities

We operate 24/7 with scheduled standby and on-call duties, which may be part of this position. As a Maintenance Technician here, you will work together with other colleagues to ensure the operation, development of the properties, and good service to our tenants.

As a Maintenance Technician, you are the face of the property owner out in the field and are responsible for ensuring that tenants feel satisfied and secure in our premises.

Examples of job responsibilities:

  • Perform internal inspections, maintenance, and corrective maintenance
  • Handle work orders and reporting via computer or mobile phone
  • Plan and carry out maintenance and repair measures within your own area of responsibility
  • Have good insight into the installations and be able to handle the operational situations that arise
  • Maintain ongoing contact with property managers and tenants
  • Contribute suggestions for maintenance to the property manager
  • Be responsible for material purchases within your own area of responsibility
  • Check compliance with laws and authority requirements
  • Participate in projects, improvement work, and energy measures affecting your own area of responsibility

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a maintenance technology education or equivalent, which we assess as comparable. It is advantageous if you have experience with different types of installations and good system knowledge in one of the following areas: electricity, ventilation, heating, heat boilers, water, cooling, control and monitoring. Previous experience in property operation is advantageous.

We offer free and varied work where you largely plan your day yourself, which requires the ability to prioritize and plan.

You handle Swedish fluently, have good computer skills, and hold a Category B driver's license.
