Jonsson & Söner is now looking for an IT Developer who wants to contribute to the development of the company's IT environment. Location: Billsta.

About the role

As an IT Developer at Jonsson & Söner, you will have a central role in the business where you work closely with both technology and commerce. The role reports directly to the CEO and is part of the company's support functions, providing good insight and the opportunity to influence future development.

The assignment is broad and combines development, operations, and business-oriented IT. Initially, the focus is on taking back and further developing the monitoring of the crushers, as well as strengthening the IT environment, including systems related to Microsoft and Monitor. In the long run, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility for support and IT-related questions throughout the business.

Responsibilities

The role involves varied work where you combine technical development with responsibility for the operation and improvement of the IT environment.

You will, among other things:

• design, develop, and maintain software solutions
• ensure performance, usability, and security in the systems
• contribute to cybersecurity work and compliance with the company's IT policies
• work with networks and IT infrastructure
• participate in development projects and work with troubleshooting and improvements
• collaborate with internal teams and the business

The role also involves contributing to structure, improved working methods, and a long-term sustainable IT environment.

Qualifications

Jonsson & Söner is looking for a person who thrives in a broad role and has the ability to combine technical competence with business understanding.

To succeed in the role, the company expects you to have:

• education in systems science, computer science, Computer Science, informatics, or equivalent
• documented experience working as a software or IT developer

Furthermore, you have work experience in:

• programming in HTML, C++ (or C#), Java, and .NET
• development, design, and maintenance of software solutions
• working with performance, usability, and security
• cybersecurity and secure development practices
• networks and IT infrastructure
• troubleshooting and continuous improvement work

You have good communication skills and express yourself well in both Swedish and English.
