We are four teams within the Test product area, making Försäkringskassan's approximately 70 system developer teams more productive while allowing them to focus on business logic and meet requirements. We provide everything from purchased to self-developed products. What we have in common is that we handle development, testing, production, and support for all our products.

Development, Production, and Support

We are looking for a System Developer with a focus on test automation and DevOps who wants to help shape our future developer portal. Here, you will have the opportunity to challenge traditional system support and elevate our development environment to the next level using modern AI technology.

You will be part of an engaged team that develops and maintains a range of support systems – both self-developed and standard systems – that actively support Försäkringskassan's system developers who perform system testing. Your work will consist of combining code development, process development, production, and support, where you will have close contact daily with our customers, Försäkringskassan's system developers. We work with Windows (client/server), Linux, and OpenShift. You will participate in the initiative to develop Försäkringskassan's new target platform, where our products accelerate the work of system developers.

In this role, you will become a key player in creating a seamless, automated, and self-service platform for our development teams. We believe you are a developer who is passionate about developer efficiency (Developer Experience) and is motivated by building stable tools and architectures that make others' daily work easier. You thrive in a team environment. Among other things, you will:

• Build the platform's SDK: Create standardized Java libraries, API contracts, and templates that make it easy for teams to isolate their microservices in our OpenShift environment.
• Efficientize system testing: Automate the test infrastructure via the SDK by integrating modern patterns such as contract testing, automated mocking, and Testcontainers for reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Innovate with AI: Challenge current system support by exploring and integrating AI technology for, for example, intelligent regression testing, automatic generation of test cases, and smart analysis of test data.

We are looking for you who

• have a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be considered equivalent
• have competence in software development
• act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results

• have a systematic and meticulous approach to work
• have good communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• competence in Java development and experience in building SDKs, frameworks, or shared libraries
• competence in DevOps and container platforms, with a special focus on OpenShift
• knowledge of how AI technology can be applied practically to automate and elevate platform and test support
• knowledge in system testing, both functional and non-functional
• experience in software architecture and design patterns
• competence in modern system testing, for example, contract testing, service virtualization, or Testcontainers in continuous flows.

Other Information

A permanent, full-time position, with start date as agreed. Probationary period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
