The vision for Production Monitoring is to be the heart of the Social Insurance Agency's IT production. Our primary role is to monitor and resolve issues in the Agency's IT infrastructure, applications, and services around the clock. We develop tools and working methods to enable proactive action, allowing us to intervene before disruptions impact operations or citizens.

IT Technician, IT Operations, and IT Monitoring

As an IT Technician, your main responsibility is to monitor daily production and act swiftly in the event of deviations to minimize downtime for internal and external users. This involves resolving and escalating incidents, coordinating troubleshooting, creating problem tickets, and participating in change implementations in accordance with the ITIL framework. The role involves numerous interactions with both internal and external stakeholders, where a key part of your job is to quickly disseminate correct operational information to affected customers and stakeholders during an incident.

Since operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, you will work according to one of the team's appreciated shift schedules, including both day and night shifts.

This position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is crucial that you possess a strong security awareness.

Who are you?

• You have a university degree in IT or equivalent experience and qualifications.
• You have professional experience in large-scale operations on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
• You act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results.
• You collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You have a systematic and meticulous work approach.
• You can understand and analyze complex issues.
• You have good proficiency in Swedish, both verbal and written.

Qualifications that are an advantage

• Knowledge of the ITIL framework and its processes, particularly incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Experience in critical 24/7 operations.
• Experience administering applications on Linux and Windows servers.
• Experience in server virtualization.
• Experience with shift work.
• Relevant certifications.

Other Information

This is a permanent, full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. Probationary period may apply. Some positions involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, a successful security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
