IT Security Specialist at the State Pension Authority (SPV) in Sundsvall

The State Pension Authority (SPV) is one of Sweden's largest providers of pension services. RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Security Specialist, you will become part of a team of competent colleagues within the security field. Together, you will work to strengthen the agency's IT security and contribute to secure and sustainable digital development.

In this role, you will work broadly with technical IT security and be involved from the early stages of development processes. You will identify risks, analyze needs, and prioritize measures that form the basis for the development of plans, processes, and routines within the IT security area.

You are responsible for translating security requirements into practical and feasible solutions, documenting your work, and following up to ensure that decided measures are implemented and achieve the intended effect.

The role also includes leading activities within infrastructure and technology to improve IT security, which means you will prioritize, execute interventions, and follow up on the work.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with our suppliers, business areas, and agile teams within system and technology development. You contribute specialist competence and ensure that IT security is integrated into development and maintenance.

An important part of the assignment is also to strengthen the agency's security culture. Through close cooperation with the operations, you provide ongoing support and guidance in IT security matters and contribute to increasing knowledge and awareness of IT security throughout the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have several years of professional experience and good expertise in the field of IT security. You have experience in technical work with IT security, preferably in larger organizations with complex technical environments and high demands on information security.

You also have good technical understanding of relevant areas within IT security (such as networks, communication, operating systems, and system development). Furthermore, you have experience with risk-based and systematic security work.

We consider the following to be meritorious:

  • Current experience working with container environments
  • Current experience with DAST, SAST, and vulnerability scanning of IT infrastructure
  • Current experience working with DevSecOps tools
  • Experience or knowledge of IT forensics and security testing (e.g., penetration testing)
  • Current experience working with security logging (e.g., SIEM)
  • Current experience working according to ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002, the Cyber Security Act, and other relevant standards and frameworks within the IT security field
  • Relevant education and/or certification within IT security
