What will you be working with?
As a registrar, your duties will include:
- Opening and closing cases, continuous diary registration, and quality control.
- Monitoring and handling the Agency's mailboxes, both digital and physical.
- Providing support and service to the operations as well as advice on case management issues.
- Other tasks within the registrar function, such as file handling and archiving of registered documents.
- Handling contact with the public, including processing requests for and disclosure of public documents.

Requirements for the position:
- Relevant educational background for the assignment.
- Experience working as a registrar at a government authority.
- Knowledge of administrative, public access, and secrecy legislation.

Very high importance is placed on:
- Good knowledge of working with case management systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word.
- Personal qualities such as good teamwork skills, responsibility, and attention to detail. You have a holistic perspective and a welcoming attitude.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. For the job, it is very important to be able to express yourself well and correctly in writing. Therefore, a writing skills test may be required.
- Basic knowledge of English.
High importance is placed on:
- Diploma as a registrar or university education in case management.
What does the unit do?
The Unit for Archives and Document Management is responsible for the Agency's archives and registry and establishes the Agency's document management plan. The unit investigates preservation and destruction and is responsible for the Agency's reporting of public documents through diary registration and archive reporting, including classification structure and document management plan. Additionally, the unit is responsible for archive care. The unit consists of both registrars and archivists who work closely together, although their main responsibilities and tasks differ.

About the employment
You will be employed as an administrator with a placement at our office in Östersund. The employment is a permanent full-time position starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement.
As an employee of the Public Health Agency, you may be assigned to wartime duties. Some positions are classified security levels where Swedish citizenship may be a requirement. Security clearance will then be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
There may be opportunities at the Agency to agree on remote work up to 40 percent of your working time.
