Do you want to be part of the city's development and contribute to providing Gothenburg residents with smart and environmentally friendly energy solutions? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring lights stay on in every home year-round, around the clock? We are now looking for two colleagues to strengthen our existing team of distribution electricians at our subsidiary, Göteborg Energi Nät AB (GENAB).

Your role

Here you will enjoy exciting and autonomous work, often outdoors. The main tasks include connecting permanent and temporary service lines, as well as troubleshooting faults in our power grid. We aim for rotation between units, which means you will eventually have the opportunity to try all tasks performed by a distribution electrician within the department, including corrective and preventive maintenance. Reporting, self-control, and administration of completed work are also daily responsibilities. Good teamwork and high electrical safety are key words in this role!

The role also includes on-call duty. Response time: 30 minutes to central Gothenburg.

Your team

You will work independently but in close collaboration with a great group of distribution electricians and project managers.

The department works with operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, connecting new customers, and participating in the construction and renovation of electrical installations. Our specific unit is primarily responsible for new connections in our power grid.

Your qualifications

In this role, you must be independent yet a good team player, service-oriented, and communicate clearly. You have the ability to initiate change, solve problems systematically, and always strive to improve your work. The ideal candidate has:

• A degree from the electrical program, specializing in power distribution, or a Vocational Higher Education (YH) qualification (formerly KY), or other education deemed equivalent.
• Category B driver's license

Experience in electrical and distribution work is considered an asset. We also consider it a plus if you have competence in the following areas:

• Aerial line work
• Service connections
• Cable work 0.4–130 kV
• Troubleshooting
• Substation assembly
