Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse – Warmly welcome to Jakobsberg University Health Centre!

Jakobsberg University Health Centre is part of SLSO (Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area). We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, just a short walk from Jakobsberg Centre and only 18 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm City.

We are a pleasant workplace with approximately 50 employees from various professions. With around 13,400 registered patients, we are one of the larger health centres in the region.

Our health centre offers nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, dementia, hypertension, osteoporosis, and elderly care. We aim to offer fun, stimulating, and developing work. As a university health centre, we are responsible for further training of healthcare personnel in certain knowledge areas. At Jakobsberg University Health Centre, we are responsible for Cancer in Primary Care (CaPrim), Neurological Diseases, Pain, and Elderly Health. We participate in various research studies originating from primary care. Several of our employees have defended their doctoral theses, and some conduct part-time research alongside their clinical work.

Job Responsibilities:

The role involves common tasks for a registered nurse/enrolled nurse at a health centre, such as telephone advice, chat support, and patient consultations.

The work requires independence, broad competence, and a drive to work proactively.

Qualifications:

You are a licensed registered nurse or enrolled nurse with several years of experience from primary care. You are flexible in your working methods, computer literate, and experienced with the medical record system TakeCare as well as other digital systems.

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time (100%). Probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday–Friday, weekends off. Start date October 1st or as agreed.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
  • Employees with patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination via occupational healthcare before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
