Hammarbygruppen offers short-term accommodation for people under and over 65 years of age, as well as permanent accommodation for people with dementia under and over 65 years old.
At the short-term facility, nursing care supported by the Social Services Act (SoL) is offered to patient groups who need the opportunity to recover after illness or injury, as well as other interventions.
At our permanent locations, we offer housing for people with a dementia diagnosis. Together, we create a safe and stable living environment and appropriate care for all stages of life for those with dementia.
Hammarbyslott consists of 48 apartments operated in a home-like environment with nature close at hand. The castle has preserved its beautiful architecture with high ceilings combined with modern standards, retaining large light influxes and generous open spaces for socializing.
Examples of disabilities we work with include Alzheimer's, frontotemporal dementia, vascular dementia, and alcohol-related dementia.
Hammarbyslott also has access to a day center.
Job Responsibilities
Your job responsibilities include, among other things, planning various activities and rehabilitation based on the residents' resources and weaknesses, and leading the activities – individually and in groups.
It is an advantage if you have previous experience assessing and mapping activity capacity from a cognitive perspective. You thrive leading various group activities such as gymnastics and cooking, and have a talent for inspiring groups. There is constant development work in the operation, and we hope you want to become part of it together with us.
The purpose of the operation is to maintain and strengthen the target group's functions through an activating and function-preserving approach.
As a physiotherapist, you have a special responsibility to assess the need for activation capacity and cognitive abilities, formulate goals, and draw up plans for support and training based on the individual's prerequisites. The work also includes collaboration with activity coaches, residents, staff, and relatives.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked at a similar operation.
If you have taken training in dementia care interactions, it is an advantage.
In your work, we see that you:
- Are self-reliant and take responsibility for your tasks.
- Are responsive and relationship-building in meetings with residents and their relatives.
- Have good empathetic ability, good interaction skills, are calm and positive in spirit, have good cooperation skills, are flexible and innovative, and see opportunities.
Work in equivalent operations or other similar operations is an advantage.
