About Us

Järfälla Rehab is part of Rehab Nordväst, which offers primary care rehabilitation in the municipalities of Solna, Sundbyberg, Järfälla, Upplands Bro, and Märsta-Sigtuna under the auspices of Region Stockholm.

At our unit in Järfälla, 36 people work, divided between home rehabilitation and the clinic. We are located in pleasant premises at Jakobsberg Hospital, a short walking distance from Jakobsberg station, approximately 15 minutes from Stockholm Odenplan.

Your Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will:

• Work with patients of all ages and with various diagnoses.
• Work both at the clinic and in the patient's home.
• Perform assessments of, for example, activity capacity, work capacity, and cognitive impairment.
• Trial assistive devices and provide information to patients, relatives, and staff.
• Conduct hand rehabilitation.
• Work both independently and in teams with other professions.
• Lead group treatments and individual interventions.
• Supervise students.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed occupational therapist.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Merits:

• Experience in hand rehabilitation.
• Experience from primary care, home rehabilitation, or inpatient care.
• Knowledge of the journal system Take Care and the ordering portal.
• Master's degree or equivalent.

We are looking for someone who has a good attitude towards people, is communicative, has good collaboration skills, is responsible, takes initiative, and sees opportunities in change. You must be comfortable working in various home environments (including homes with pets and smoking odors).

Employment Type

Permanent position, full-time 40 hours/week, daytime hours. Probationary period may apply.

Other Information

Stockholm County Council (SLSO) requires health certificates and background checks before employment. Rules regarding piercings apply to prevent the spread of MRSA.
