The Business Area (VO) Imaging and Function at Skåne University Hospital covers the specialties of medical radiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, as well as clinical neurophysiology and neuroradiology. Alongside our clinical operations, we have a significant educational and research activity.

The Section of Gastro- and Uroradiology within VO Imaging and Function is a comprehensive diagnostic department equipped with MRI and CT diagnostics, conventional X-ray with fluoroscopy, as well as large units for ultrasound diagnostics and gastro-intervention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking an Assistant Professor in Medical Radiology for VO Imaging and Function, placed at the Section of Gastro- and Uroradiology.

As an Assistant Professor, your role involves working with several modalities within gastro-radiology. You will also participate in multidisciplinary conferences and develop diagnostic methods. Back-up operations, as well as various types of education and supervision, are also part of the position.

The primary place of work is Lund. However, duty may also take place in Malmö.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have:

• specialist competence in medical radiology or equivalent
• full-time employment for at least three years (documented effective time)
• clinical skill and independence within gastro- and uroradiology beyond the specialist competence obtained in medical radiology
• completed or planned course in clinical supervision
• documented teaching and supervisory merits
• Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

Medical responsibility and knowledge area are meritorious, preferably within MRI diagnostics and CT diagnostics.

A dissertation and/or specialist degree can be credited for a total of six months of clinical employment.
