Seeking a Licensed Physiotherapist for the Rehabilitation Team in Båstad Municipality

About the Team and Facilities

The rehabilitation department consists of seven occupational therapists, seven physiotherapists (one of whom is on parental leave), one rehabilitation assistant, one caretaker, and one unit manager. Our operations are based in Grevie where we are gathered, except for one occupational therapist and one physiotherapist who are stationed at the municipality's short-term care facility in Förslöv.

Please note that we have started planning to build new premises located near the train station in Förslöv. Once the construction is complete, we will move our operations there.

Tasks and Collaboration

We work across the municipality in teams with home care, special housing, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) operations, social psychiatry, and short-term care. You need to be open and flexible in your working methods as we need to adjust daily to prioritize what is most important at the moment.

Teamwork is an important part of health and medical care within care and social services. You will meet, in addition to our own operations, also nurses, assistant nurses, care assistants, needs assessors, and unit managers out in the different operations. We support each other in the work group and everyone contributes to making a difference for the individual patient and citizen in Båstad Municipality. We work patient-centered together with the individual care recipient based on their needs.

Your Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist in Båstad Municipality, you work to enable the individual to live as independent a life as possible. You have the overall rehabilitation responsibility together with the occupational therapist. You conduct assessments, training, evaluation, and follow-up, as well as fitting and follow-up of technical assistive devices based on the physiotherapist's prescription rights. The work also includes informing, instructing, and supervising staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitative and preventive measures.

Work occurs within special housing, home care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Close collaboration occurs with other professions, team work, and work with discharge planning and planning based on the tool "My Plans" when patients are to go home from inpatient care at the hospital.

We document in the operation system Lifecare HSL and orders for assistive devices are made via Websesam, Medelpunkten in Helsingborg.

Requirements and Merits

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a licensed physiotherapist, especially within the municipality.

For the assignment, you must have the ability to independently plan and organize your work and have good collaboration skills both internally and externally. You need to be flexible as tasks vary and be able to prioritize in different situations. You are stimulated by challenges and place great value on good treatment and have a genuine interest in improving people's daily lives.

You must take great personal responsibility in your professional role. It is important to know, however, that you have colleagues close by as support in everyday life. A driver's license is required.

Employment Conditions

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Mid-September or as agreed.
