At Attendo, we are now looking for a Care Assistant (Undersköterska) for Attendo Hamnparken in Norrtälje. Hamnparken is a residential care home for the elderly that opened in May 2022. We have 80 places in total, with 40 places for somatic care and 40 places for dementia care.
Our focus is on sports and spa. We place great emphasis on exercise and health; we have a Personal Trainer (PT) who visits two days a week, as well as training sessions led by our staff. Internal studies at Attendo show that staff well-being positively impacts the well-being of residents.
About the role
As a Care Assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a significant part of your role, as is contributing to various activities that brighten the daily lives of our elderly residents.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Personal care according to the organization's routines, based on the customer's individual needs and wishes.
- Assisting with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
- Performing documentation and working based on decided interventions.
- Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Care Assistant education (minimum 1350 credits).
- Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a Care Assistant.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written), level B.
- Good computer skills.
Merits:
- Experience from care work in dementia care.
- Experience with delegation.
