As a Dietitian at Bromma Rehab, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's health – every day.

Here you will have a varied and independent role with opportunities to work at the clinic, in patients' homes, and partially digitally. Our clinic is located in Alvik, just a short walk from the subway and tram. Around 20 employees work here – dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and receptionists – working together to provide patients with safe, person-centered, and cohesive rehabilitation.

Bromma Rehab is part of Rehab Västra within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO). Our mission is to provide primary care rehabilitation (core task) as well as an additional task for a neuro team in outpatient care. Together, we are approximately 70 employees distributed across the clinics in Bromma, Ekerö, Kista, and Spånga. Our eight dietitians work closely together and share experiences continuously, providing good opportunities for collegial support and professional development.

Job Description:

As a dietitian in primary care rehabilitation, you will meet patients of all ages. You will work with patients who have lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, overweight, as well as gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, or allergies/intolerances. The work involves assessment, treatment, and counseling both at the clinic and during home visits. You prescribe and order nutritional products and special food products.

The job requires good teamwork skills as you will sometimes work in teams with other professional categories at the clinic and collaborate with relatives, home care services, and other healthcare providers regarding your patients. The role also includes group therapy for different diagnostic groups and supervision of students.

Employment Type:

Permanent position starting as agreed. Full-time 100%, 40 hours/week, part-time can be discussed. Probation period may apply.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Dietitian
  • Experience in primary care is meritorious, as is a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or other further education
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
