About the position
At Astrid Lindgren's Pediatric Emergency in Solna, advanced emergency care is provided for children and adolescents aged 0–18. We receive patients with acute medical, orthopedic, and surgical conditions, and our operations are open 24/7. Patient flow varies, and the pace can sometimes be high, requiring flexibility and good teamwork skills.
In recent years, we have actively worked on developing our operations and working methods to provide the best possible care. We now want to expand our team and are looking for you who want to contribute to our continued development.
As a nursing assistant, you work in a team together with nurses, doctors, and other colleagues. The work involves standard tasks at an emergency department and entails great variation in both duties and patient interactions. You meet patients who arrive on foot or by ambulance, some of whom require immediate emergency care. The work is varied and requires your ability to prioritize and handle rapid changes in patients' conditions.
We are looking for you who
- Are confident in your role as a nursing assistant and thrive in a varied and sometimes intensive work environment
- Have good teamwork skills and contribute to a positive team climate
- Are flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
- Have a professional and empathetic approach towards patients and their families

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer's certificate confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) of the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you apply with an employer's certificate, you must attach your nursing assistant diploma.
- Experience working in pediatric care and/or emergency care
Merits:
- Experience with casting.
