We are now looking for staff for our team in Åkersberga to work Monday–Friday and every other weekend. We are looking for someone who wants to work evening shifts. Here you will find meaningful work where you make a difference every day.
Employment and Terms
- Hours: Monday–Friday and every other weekend
- Employment level: 90%
- Working hours: approx. 15:30–22:30
- Type of employment: Permanent with a six-month probationary period
- Start date: As agreed
- Workplace: You will be based at our office in Åkersberga and work within Österåker Municipality.
Job Responsibilities – What will you do?
As a temporary staff member, you will work in customers' homes with varying tasks based on individual needs:
- Personal care – support with hygiene, dressing/undressing, and mobility
- Social support & conversation – create security through presence and good treatment
- Support in daily life – help with meals and simple household chores
- Supervision & security – monitor needs and contribute to safe care
- Documentation – document according to the implementation plan
- Emergency call system – quickly respond to urgent needs from customers who have activated the alarm. We work on behalf of Österåker Municipality and are responsible for both standard home care tasks and handling emergency calls between 07:00–22:30. This means a varied role with both planned and more urgent interventions.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are engaged and want to contribute to a secure and professional home care service:
- Nursing education (highly meritorious) – you have a completed education, preferably with experience
- Good Swedish in speech and writing – you can communicate clearly and document correctly
- Category B driver's license (REQUIRED) – you are a confident and experienced driver
- Cycling experience (highly meritorious) – you feel comfortable traveling between customers by bike
- Responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented – you take initiative, work independently, and maintain calm in different situations while collaborating well with colleagues and meeting people with empathy, respect, and understanding.
- Digitally competent – you use a mobile phone in your daily work
