Procurement Specialist at Väsbyhem

About the role
As a Procurement Specialist at Väsbyhem, you will have overall responsibility for our procurement and contract work, combining strategic procurement efforts with close support to the business operations. You will lead own procurements and direct procurements in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU), develop our purchasing processes, and contribute to ensuring that our resources are used in a smart, sustainable, and responsible manner.
You will become an important part of the finance unit and contribute to ensuring that our purchases and contracts create the greatest possible value for the business, our tenants, and society at large. The role involves many contact points where you work closely with managers and employees throughout the organization, as well as with the municipality's procurement unit to ensure that our contracts are used correctly and that we continuously develop our working methods.
This is a role for you who appreciate switching between operational work and long-term development work – and who wants to help create the conditions for smart and sustainable business.
Your main responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document procurements in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- Provide support and advice to the business regarding procurement and purchasing matters
- Develop and manage Väsbyhem Group's procurement, purchasing, and contract processes
- Conduct analyses, follow-ups, internal controls, and risk assessments related to procurement, purchasing, and contracts
- Contribute to increased knowledge about procurement, purchasing, and contracts within the organization
- Manage and participate in the development of system support and methods for follow-up and control
- Contribute to the handling of environmental, social, and ethical requirements in a suitable manner in procurements, in collaboration with relevant functions
We are looking for you who
- Have relevant post-secondary education in law, procurement, or purchasing
- Have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU)
- Have experience in procurement, purchasing, or contract follow-up
- Have good analytical skills and experience in making risk assessments
- Express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Are curious about how digital tools and AI can streamline procurement and contract processes and see opportunities to develop working methods through new technology
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Experience from the public sector or the real estate industry
- Experience with procurement systems
- Experience with systems for purchasing and contract follow-up
- Experience with data analysis, for example in Excel or BI tools

Practical information
The position is a permanent full-time employment and you report to the Finance Manager. Start date is by agreement.
