The home care service in Fagersta consists of dedicated and proud employees who work every day to provide security and individualized care to the residents of Fagersta. Our work is based on each customer's implementation plan, and we always strive to strengthen health and create conditions for a meaningful everyday life.

The operations are currently divided into twelve smaller work groups plus a night shift, and we work geographically based on where our customers live. The operations also include support for relatives, voluntary activities, and day activities.

Your assignment

As an employee here, you work closely with our customers in their homes, providing care, support, and services based on individual needs. You create security and continuity in everyday life and contribute to strengthening the customers' independence.

The role also includes drawing up and following up on implementation plans for the customers for whom you are the designated care contact. Here, we work from a salutogenic approach, which means we focus on what works and on the customers' own resources.

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and who thrive in a role where no two days are alike. The work requires flexibility, a good attitude towards customers, and the ability to quickly adapt to the customers' needs.

Your qualifications and merits

We want you who apply to have a degree from the Care and Nursing Programme or other equivalent education that the employer deems relevant.

We are looking for you who have:

• Education as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) and can provide an extract from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding your protected professional title.
• Good empathetic skills and the ability to listen to and understand customers' needs.
• Structure, integrity, personal maturity, and a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• A service-oriented, responsible, and proactive work approach.
• High flexibility and feel comfortable working in all parts of the operations.
• Basic IT skills.
• Category B driver's license.

Experience with systems such as IntraPhone, SignIt, LifeCare, and Multiaccess is considered an advantage.

Fagersta is a Finnish administrative area; knowledge of a minority language and minority culture can be seen as meritorious.
