About us

Direct management is the municipal provider of three nursing homes in Upplands Väsby Municipality. We run three nursing homes centrally located in the municipality. Brobacken is located right next to Upplands Väsby station. Our nurses at Brobacken work daytime Monday to Sunday with shifts every fourth weekend and public holidays. Evenings and nights we have a nurse patrol.

About the position

You will become the care responsible nurse for 19 patients. As a nurse with us, you contribute to creating a safe, meaningful, and active daily life. In the role, you will be responsible for carrying out health and medical care interventions at the facility. In close collaboration with other care staff, you plan, perform, and develop care work based on individual goals and needs. You will have close collaboration with residents, relatives, care staff, as well as other colleagues and managers. As a nurse, you also function as a supervisor for the care staff. Since the position also involves weekend shifts, you will have supervisory responsibility with the mandate to redistribute staff at the facility if needed.

The position is full-time with a weekly hour count of 38 hours per week and every fourth weekend.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who have:

• Nursing license
• Several years of experience working as a nurse in elderly care
• Good knowledge of Swedish as clear communication is an important part of the work and careful documentation is required

As a person, you are collaborative and solution-oriented, meaning you have an easy time collaborating with others as well as handling and solving problems that arise. Furthermore, you are confident and have the ability to handle more pressured situations well. We also see that you need to be structured; you organize your work well and have the ability to adapt when needed.
