About the Position

Ward 76 focuses on general internal medicine, and our patients have a broad spectrum of internal medicine diagnoses. Our goal is the care and treatment of the acutely ill patient. Here, you have the opportunity to further develop a broad competence in internal medicine. We have direct intake from the emergency department around the clock as well as transfers from other departments within the hospital, meaning you will encounter and care for patients with both acute and chronic conditions.

We work in teams, learn from each other, and have good collaboration between professions where the patient's best interest is our common goal.

Job Description

Working as a nurse here is varied and developmental. You lead the work, make assessments, and prescribe nursing measures. The work as a nurse here involves many medical-technical tasks. We work with peripheral and central lines, venous blood gases, pleural and ascites drains. Here, you will work with telemetry, saturation monitoring, and high-flow therapy.

In your daily work, you have support from care coordinators, coordinators, and pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse (RN).
• At least two years of experience in emergency care on a ward.
• Experience in internal medicine is meritorious.
• Specialist education in emergency care is meritorious.
