QA Responsible at BI-QEM AB in Perstorp

Do you want to take the next step in your career within quality and develop in a key role where you work close to production? BI-QEM AB is now looking for a QA Responsible who wants to combine technical quality work with a practical and business-oriented approach.

As a QA Responsible, you will become a central part of the operations and work closely with operators, the laboratory, and production. You are responsible for daily quality work, drive improvements, and contribute to the company's quality and environmental work. The role suits you if you thrive in a production-oriented environment, enjoy analyzing and solving problems, and want to contribute to developing both working methods and products.

You will receive a thorough introduction in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. The role is long-term and offers great opportunities for development and gradually taking on more responsibility within management systems, quality, and product development.

The position is located at BI-QEM's facility in Perstorp.

Main responsibilities

You work operationally and developmentally with a focus on quality. This means that you:

• Are present daily in production and collaborate closely with operators and team leaders
• Monitor quality results, analyze deviations, and make decisions on quality issues
• Handle customer complaints, conduct investigations, and write reports
• Are responsible for the validation and approval of raw materials
• Coordinate the laboratory and are responsible for equipment and calibrations
• Drive and develop the company's management systems according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Drive continuous improvement work within materials and products, working methods, and equipment
• Collaborate with colleagues within the BI-QEM group, both in Sweden and internationally

Who are you?

We believe that you:

• Have a technical or scientific education, preferably with elements of chemistry or process technology
• Have a few years of experience from manufacturing or process industry
• Have experience in quality work and preferably with management systems
• Are meticulous, structured, and analytical
• Are unpretentious and thrive in a production environment
• Have good technical understanding and an interest in processes and materials
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

As a person, you are engaged, energetic, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating, are present in the operations, and are motivated by contributing to the company's continued development.

About the business

BI-QEM AB's main business is the development, production, and marketing of chemical special products for industrial applications. The company focuses on formulations primarily used within the manufacturing industry. The products mainly consist of various types of specially adapted curing plastic raw materials.

In Perstorp, BI-QEM AB runs a continuous production operation with approximately 25 operators in shift work. Production runs around the clock on weekdays. The operations are characterized by stable operations and high competence, where you get the opportunity to work with both established processes and development work. There is a strong culture of collaboration and a desire to develop together.

BI-QEM AB is in an exciting development phase where production volume is expected to increase significantly during the coming year, creating good opportunities to influence and develop together with the operations.
