About the operations

Economic Services is the Västra Götaland Region's joint service center for finance. As an economist here, you will have the opportunity to develop both the operations and yourself. You will belong to a unit of just over 20 people, and the unit performs varied accounting and administrative tasks depending on our customers' requests. These tasks can include various types of assignments within the financial field.

About the job

The tasks are varied and may change over time based on operational needs. They include, among other things:

• Ongoing accounting
• Checks and reconciliations
• Monthly and annual financial statements
• Various types of accounting assignments related to our customers' operations

You work in a digitized environment where the development of working methods and processes is a natural part of everyday life. You work together with colleagues to provide professional support to the operations, and the role offers the opportunity to work broadly within finance in a large organization. At the same time, you contribute to the development of our working methods and routines. You thrive in an environment where you need to be flexible, helpful, and willing to work with ongoing changes.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university degree in economics. It is an advantage if you have experience in financial work, preferably from the public sector, and thrive in a role where you get to combine analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration.

We see that you have:

• Good analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding, improving, and developing working methods
• The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently
• A non-hierarchical attitude and good collaboration skills
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
