We are now looking for a Study and Career Counselor to be placed in primary and lower secondary school. We warmly welcome your application!

Responsibilities

As a Study and Career Counselor, you will guide students through study and career choice situations, both individually and in groups. You will provide information about the education system, working life, and the labor market, which means you will also act as an environmental scanner regarding developments and changes within the school-worklife interface. The role also includes administrative tasks related to students' various types of internships. You will support teachers and other staff in their study and career orientation activities, participate in local student health teams, and may contribute to the school's development and evaluation work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Study and Career Counselor. You are a true team player who wants to contribute to students' development through interaction and dialogue with others. You view student development from a holistic perspective. Furthermore, you excel at building and maintaining good relationships with both students and adults. To succeed in this role, it is important that you are responsive, independent, proactive, flexible, and solution-focused. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If offered the position, you must provide a clean extract from the Swedish Police Register (criminal record check).
