Cajsa’s Kök is a privately owned limited company specializing in food production for events and catering. In addition to our event venues, lunch restaurants, and cafés, we provide catering services for both everyday occasions and celebrations.

About the role

Do you want to work with finance in a fast-paced company where no two days are alike? We are now looking for a colleague to join our finance department on a maternity leave cover for approximately 12 months.

The finance function plays a central role in the company’s management, and you will work closely with the operational managers. In addition to financial reporting for our various units, the function is responsible for the company’s payroll administration.

Your responsibilities

As an economist/accountant at Cajsa’s Kök, you will have a broad scope within the finance department, with a focus on ongoing bookkeeping and payroll administration.

Main tasks include:

• Ongoing financial reporting
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Internal billing/cost allocation
• VAT and tax reporting
• Monthly closing and participation in the annual accounts
• Profit & loss reporting, financial follow-up, and analysis
• Payroll administration and HR-related administrative tasks
• Annual vacation settlement and support during payroll audits
• Contact with authorities

Your background

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in economics/finance, or equivalent work experience
• At least three years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping
• Experience with payroll administration
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written

The following would be a plus:

• Experience working in finance within a smaller company
• Familiarity with Caspeco or Fortnox systems
• Good proficiency in Excel

You are service-oriented and professional in your interactions with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Since you will be the sole person in this role, we expect you to be independent, solution-oriented, and positive about working days that vary from one another. Personal fit is highly valued.

Important details

This is a 100% fixed-term contract covering a parental leave. The work will take place on-site at our premises on Fyrisborgsgatan 4. During the onboarding period, you will have the opportunity to shadow our current accountant.

Salary range: SEK 37,000 – 42,000 per month
