Employee in Photo & Image Production at Götaplatsens Foto

Do you want to combine technology, image quality, and customer experience in a creative and varied role?

At Götaplatsens Foto, you will work in an environment where a passion for photography is at the center. We are now looking for a team member for our photo lab – someone with an interest in photography, technology, and quality who wants to be part of our dedicated team.

In this role, you will work on producing image products and contribute to a smooth and efficient daily production process. You will become a key part of the business where attention to detail, service, and a keen eye for image quality are crucial to the final result.

Your workdays will consist of a combination of image production, customer contact, and practical work in the lab. You will produce photo prints, photo frames, canvases, and other image products while helping to maintain high quality throughout the entire production process.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the store and lab, helping customers find the right solutions based on their requests. Together, you will ensure that every customer receives a personalized service and an experience that meets high expectations.

Part of the job also involves contributing to order and structure in the lab, as well as identifying any need for maintenance or servicing of equipment. You therefore need to be practical-minded, detail-oriented, and have an interest in the technology behind production.

Job Responsibilities

As a team member in Photo & Image Production, you will among other things:

  • Produce analog and digital image products.

  • Create photo frames, canvases, and other special products.

  • Assist customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings.

  • Contribute to maintaining high quality in production and deliveries.

  • Ensure machines and equipment are maintained and function optimally.

  • Coordinate service and plan preventive maintenance.

  • Work with image management and color control.

  • Help keep the lab organized, clean, and running smoothly.

  • Be responsible for ordering materials and ensure proper inventory management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop routines and working methods.

  • Assist in the store when needed and provide professional advice to customers.

We believe you:
  • Have experience from photo labs, image production, or similar operations.

  • Have a strong interest in photography and good knowledge of analog photography (required) as well as digital image management.

  • Are detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and enjoy practical work.

  • Have good technical understanding and enjoy problem-solving.

  • Are service-oriented and enjoy helping customers.

  • Thrive in team collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Are flexible and able to assist both in the lab and in the store when needed.
