Designer for Manufacturing Industry

We are looking for a designer to join an exciting consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry. The assignment is approximately six months long, with a possibility of extension.

About the Role

In this role as a designer, you will work on design and product development within the manufacturing sector. You are expected to have solid experience in design work, preferably with galvanized products. The position involves independently driving design projects while collaborating closely with other team members at the client site. The client's operations are located in northern Värmland, where after an initial on-site introduction, you will have the opportunity to work remotely 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
  • Approximately 5 years of experience from the manufacturing industry
  • Experience with CAD tools, proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus
  • Experience with galvanized products is a plus
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
