We are now looking for an engaged Operations Control Engineer for our control center.

About the role of Operations Control Engineer

Our control center is the heart of our operations, ensuring around the clock that electricity flows into the homes of our 970,000 customers every day. As an Operations Control Engineer at Ellevio, you work at one of Sweden's largest control centers. You will have the opportunity to work in a modern environment focused on development, while being a key part of the work managing parts of Sweden's infrastructure.

The electricity industry is undergoing exciting developments, where customers take a more active role and collaboration with renewable production, storage solutions, and flexibility becomes increasingly important. The power grid is crucial in this change, and operations are central. As an Operations Control Engineer, you will have a varied daily routine where you collaborate and solve challenges with internal colleagues as well as external contractors. In this role, you will work with planned work, monitoring, operations, and fault clearance in Ellevio's power grid. You will also be part of our operational support team, which supports the operational activities. The support team also handles business development, capacity challenges, proactive analysis, and monitoring of grid flows, etc.

Who we are looking for

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities in this recruitment. We are looking for someone who:

• Has a secondary or post-secondary education with a technical focus (preferably in electrical power engineering, energy and environment, or electronics) and some years of relevant work experience.
• Has worked with systems for monitoring and controlling processes. We believe this competence facilitates understanding the business, but you can also learn and develop within the area in the role.
• Can express yourself fluently in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of electricity production, transmission, distribution, or energy flows.
