We are now looking for a Security Systems Technician for the operations unit within the property department of the Technical Administration. Are you a meticulous and service-oriented technician? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
What we offer you!
As a technician in the Technical Administration, you will be responsible for the daily operation of alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV throughout Hässleholm Municipality. In this role, you will participate in internal operational meetings for planning and follow-up, and perform technical tasks such as troubleshooting, supervision, maintenance, and preventive maintenance across the municipality. Your responsibilities include, among other things, carrying out corrective maintenance in relation to response times and procedures, as well as ensuring that all incoming fault reports are rectified and reported back in the case management system. You will also follow a planned patrol schedule, which you will revise together with the team leader as needed. You will be part of a small team working to ensure a safe and secure environment for the municipality's residents. The daily work is performed both collaboratively and independently.
The Property Operations unit is located on the Garrison area in Hässleholm. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with a start date to be agreed upon. On-call duties may be included in the role.

Who are you?
We are looking for you with a technical upper secondary education in, for example, electricity or property technology. Knowledge of security systems technology or equivalent, or experience that the employer deems equivalent, is required. You should also have experience in the operation and maintenance of alarm and access control systems. To perform the work safely, we expect you to have a good understanding of occupational health and safety regulations. The work requires follow-up and reporting in digital systems, which demands good computer skills. You must be proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to read, write, and understand work instructions. Furthermore, you must be able to handle physically demanding work and hold a B-driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Electrical technical background or equivalent technical education.
- Several years of experience from the security industry.
- Broad knowledge of alarm, access, and security systems.
- Good system understanding and ability to work in a structured and documented manner.
- Certificates in one or more security systems.
