VoltAir System AB develops, produces, markets, and sells flexible air handling units to the Nordic real estate market – and now we want to strengthen our development team with a new colleague.

Sales offices are located in Stockholm and Gothenburg, and production takes place in Torsby, Värmland, and Nyland, Ångermanland.

Do you want to help develop energy-efficient cooling and heat pump solutions for tomorrow's ventilation systems? We are now looking for a Heat Pump Engineer who wants to combine technical expertise with product development in an international environment.

About the role

As a Heat Pump Engineer, you are responsible for the technical development of cooling and heat pump solutions for air handling units. You work through the entire development process – from sizing and design to testing and technical support.

Your responsibilities

  • Size and develop heat pump and cooling systems
  • Create drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Select components such as compressors, cooling coils, and control systems
  • Test and verify new product solutions
  • Ensure that designs meet current standards and environmental requirements
  • Provide technical support to sales, procurement, and customer service
  • Collaborate with HVAC, electrical, and product development teams
  • Contribute technical advice during installation and commissioning

We are looking for someone who has

  • Relevant engineering education in refrigeration technology, HVAC, or energy technology
  • Experience in design and sizing of cooling or heat pump systems
  • Good knowledge of refrigerants and energy-efficient solutions
  • Experience with CAD/BIM and technical calculation tools
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English. Finnish or other Nordic languages are meritorious.

Permanent full-time position.

Location

We prefer that you are located near one of our sites in Torsby or Nyland, but for the right candidate, remote work from home is an option.
