VoltAir System AB develops, produces, markets, and sells flexible air handling units to the Nordic real estate market – and now we want to strengthen our development team with a new colleague.

Sales offices are located in Stockholm and Gothenburg, and production takes place in Torsby, Värmland, and Nyland, Ångermanland.

Do you want to work with product development in a company where innovation, sustainability, and technical quality are at the center? We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Designer who wants to help develop the next generation of heat recovery solutions for the commercial ventilation market.

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer/Designer, you will become an important part of our development team, working closely with product owners, project managers, and other technical specialists. You will be responsible for developing products that meet high demands for performance, energy efficiency, and quality.

The role offers great variety, combining design, calculations, testing, and product development.

Your main responsibilities

  • Design and develop heat recovery systems for the commercial market
  • Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation
  • Perform airflow, pressure drop, and performance calculations
  • Participate in laboratory tests and verification of new products
  • Work with prototype development and product improvements
  • Ensure that products meet current standards and energy efficiency requirements
  • Create technical documentation and assembly instructions

We are looking for someone with

  • A university degree or civil engineer degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in HVAC, ventilation, or product development
  • Experience with CAD, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English. Finnish or other Nordic languages are meritorious.

Location

We prefer that you are located near one of our sites in Torsby or Nyland, but for the right candidate, remote work from home is an option.
