Do you want to work with some of the market's most advanced engines while enjoying a varied daily routine between the workshop and customer sites? BOS Power is now looking for a traveling service technician for our operations in Jordbro.
As a service technician at BOS Power, you will work with servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of engines and systems. The work takes place both in the workshop and at customer locations, with a significant portion of the role spent out in the field.
Here you will have the opportunity to work with complex technology in a role where problem-solving, independence, and customer contact are natural parts of the job.
The work week normally starts from the office in Jordbro, but assignments may take you to various parts of Sweden and occasionally to other Nordic countries when needed. The organization operates across national borders within its business areas, making collaboration within the Nordics a natural part of the operations.
Assignment planning is done centrally, but work planning is carried out independently. You are responsible for how the work is performed on-site, while clear frameworks for delivery and scheduling are provided.
Since you often work directly with customers, you also become an important representative for the company. This role is therefore suited for someone who enjoys technology and appreciates human interaction.
Introduction and Competence Development
When you start, you will receive a thorough introduction to the operations and products. This is followed by continuous training where you develop knowledge in both engine and electrical systems.
The position also includes:
- compensation for business travel
- generous field allowances for work in the field
- opportunity to influence the extent of travel and overtime through dialogue with management
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To thrive in this role, we believe you have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy practical work with mechanics.
We would like you to:
- have experience working with engines or machinery; you should have prior experience assembling engines.
- be curious about technology and eager to develop within advanced engine systems.
- be able to work systematically and meticulously when troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.
- thrive in a role where you take initiative and plan your own work.
- be social and professional in customer interactions.
- be flexible and able to travel for work.
You will also need:
- fluent Swedish and basic English skills.
- a valid driver's license (Category B).
Does this sound interesting? Don't hesitate to send in your application, as we are interviewing candidates on an ongoing basis!
