Responsibilities
As an operator within Sweden Operations, you are an important part of the operations, ensuring quality assurance and contributing to customer confidence in the product. You monitor production, handle machinery/equipment, perform minor maintenance tasks, and document your ongoing work activities. Follow-up and problem analysis are conducted using Lean tools. Operators manage the operation of associated equipment within a specific section. This involves preparations for new processes, monitoring during the process, and concluding actions (cleaning, etc.) after the process is completed.
All work is standardized, and continuous improvement is part of every role. All work is carried out according to written instructions (SOP) and follows GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). The company operates 24/7, and you will work in shifts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or two years of work experience in industry and production.
- Very good knowledge of spoken, written, and reading comprehension in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to work all types of shifts (2-shift, 3-shift, 5-shift).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma in natural sciences or engineering.
- Experience with documentation, e.g., deviation reporting, familiarity with working with protocols, recipes, logbooks, or similar (a documentation test will be conducted during the interview).
- Good system proficiency, e.g., SAP or equivalent.
- Experience with GMP and LEAN is advantageous as these are working methods that permeate the entire AstraZeneca organization.
- Customer focus, as well as good collaboration skills and social competence.
