About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant as a temporary substitute on an as-needed basis for our client in Ryd, Linköping.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 08:00-15:00
  • 15:00-21:45
  • 21:45-08:00 (Awake night)

Start date according to agreement.

About the client

The client is a woman in her 70s who enjoys cooking and baking and likes being at home. She needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to muscular dystrophy and impaired respiratory muscles. The client uses certain assistive devices, such as a breathing machine, cough assist machine, ceiling lift, and electric wheelchair.

The tasks include the following:

  • Support with daily routines and household chores
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
  • Help with the client's interests such as cooking and baking

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs first. As a person, you are empathetic, socially aware, calm, proactive, and enjoy helping out in the home.

Requirements:

  • Previous care experience
  • Non-smoker

Employment level: 3 temporary substitutes on an as-needed basis

Start date: Start date February 1st. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting an employment at Olivia is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
