ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Finspång. The position is a temporary assignment where you will work 16 hours per week until 30/10, 12 hours per week from 31/10-20/11, 8 hours per week from 21/11-11/12, and 4 hours per week from 12/12 until 1/1-27. This assignment is perfect for you who are studying, or alternatively, for you who are looking for some extra hours!

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on weekdays

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a warm and social woman in her 70s with a physical disability resulting from a neurological injury (cerebral air embolism). This means she is paralyzed in her left arm and has reduced mobility in her left leg. She occasionally suffers from recurring bile duct inflammation, which means she needs a sensitive assistant who keeps an extra eye on her general condition. Our client uses a wheelchair, shower chair, and walker to support her daily life.

The tasks include the following:

• Helping with daily routines such as occasional household chores.

• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals.

• Helping with manual transfers and training and stretching programs.

Furthermore, the client enjoys socializing and experiencing things outside the home. She has many wonderful interests and enjoys going to auctions, listening to music, going to the theater and cinema, and treating herself to restaurant and café visits. She also appreciates shopping and keeping the body moving; she exercises a couple of times a week and visits the swimming pool once a week, where you together make the bath time a safe and lovely experience.

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be sensitive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged, as great importance is placed on personal suitability. Our client requests only female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Category B driver's license (automatic/manual)

• Tolerant of scratches, swimming skills, and comfortable participating in the pool with the client

• Non-smoker

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Nursing experience or equivalent

• Manual Category B driver's license

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
