Do you want to develop within web development by building and improving real digital products?

Birger is looking for a Website Development Intern who wants to work practically with the development of a new digital brand within the construction and renovation industry. You will be involved in building, optimizing, and further developing the website with a focus on user experience, performance, conversion, and scalability.

This is not an internship where you merely observe. You will work on concrete development tasks and be involved in the entire process – from idea and design to implementation, testing, and launch.

What you will do

• Build and further develop web pages, landing pages, and features
• Implement design and content in the website's CMS
• Work with responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Improve the website's user experience, structure, and conversion
• Optimize load times, performance, and technical SEO
• Identify and fix bugs and technical issues
• Test new features and ensure quality before launch
• Work with forms, integrations, and automated workflows
• Collaborate with people within SEO, content, and design
• Contribute to creating scalable components and structures

We are looking for you who

• Studies web development, frontend development, system development, UX/UI, or similar
• Have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Have a strong interest in websites, digital products, and user experience
• Are structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous
• Can work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks
• Are curious and want to learn new technologies, platforms, and ways of working
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Swedish is a requirement for the position.

Advantageous but not required

• Experience with React, Next.js, or other modern frameworks
• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Lovable, or other CMS and web platforms
• Basic understanding of UX/UI and conversion optimization
• Experience with Git and version control
• Experience with APIs, databases, or external integrations
• Understanding of technical SEO and web performance
• Experience with Figma or other design tools
• Experience from startup, agency, or entrepreneurial environments
