Are you meticulous, structured, and interested in web publishing, content, and digital communication?

Birger is looking for a Digital Editor / Web Publisher who wants to help build and develop content for a new digital brand in the construction and renovation industry.

This role is perfect for you if you enjoy working practically in a CMS, publishing and quality-assuring content, and ensuring that web pages are clear, well-structured, and correctly optimized.

You will work closely with content, SEO, and web development. The focus is on publishing, updating, and improving articles, service pages, local landing pages, and other website content.

This is not an observational internship. You will be responsible for concrete publishing tasks and become a key part of the work in building a comprehensive, user-friendly, and search engine optimized website.

What you will do

• Publish articles, guides, service pages, and landing pages in the website's CMS
• Format texts with headings, lists, images, links, and other content elements
• Update and quality-assure existing web pages
• Ensure content follows the website's structure, tone, and guidelines
• Work with page titles, meta descriptions, URL structures, and heading hierarchies
• Add and improve internal links between relevant pages
• Manage images, file names, alt texts, and image formats
• Check that pages function correctly on mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Identify broken links, incorrect formatting, and other publishing issues
• Create and duplicate page templates for different services and geographic areas
• Ensure the right information is displayed on the right page
• Work with content inventory and ongoing updates
• Optimize existing pages based on SEO data and user behavior
• Contribute to improving the website's navigation and information structure
• Use AI tools as support for research, language review, and content work
• Collaborate with people within SEO, content, design, and web development

We are looking for someone who

• Has a strong interest in websites, content, and digital publishing
• Is very meticulous and has an eye for detail
• Enjoys working structured with many pages and recurring tasks
• Has a good sense of language, layout, and user-friendliness
• Can work independently and take responsibility for own tasks
• Is solution-oriented and comfortable learning new digital tools
• Is curious about SEO, information structure, and user behavior
• Is studying or has studied communication, web production, media, digital marketing, journalism, or similar

Very good Swedish skills in both speech and writing are required for the role.

Advantageous but not required

• Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
• Experience in web publishing or editorial work
• Basic knowledge in SEO
• Experience working with metadata, internal linking, and web structure
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush
• Experience with image management and simple image editing
• Basic understanding of UX and conversion optimization
• Experience with AI tools for content and quality assurance
• Interest in construction, renovation, housing, or consumer issues
• Experience from startup, agency, or entrepreneurial environments
