Do you want to help develop the future of outpatient care in Ånge Municipality?

We are now looking for therapists for the outpatient activities of the Individual and Family Care department. We are looking for you who want to work with support, treatment, and change work together with children, young people, adults, and families. With us, you will have the opportunity to be part of a developing operation where we value collaboration, flexibility, and professional handling.

Job Responsibilities

As a therapist within the IFO's outpatient care, you work with preventive measures, support and treatment work, as well as change work with individuals, families, and groups. The work may include both needs-assessed interventions and service interventions, targeting people with varying needs and life situations.

We are looking for you who have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • harmful use and addiction,
  • violence in close relationships,
  • children's needs and development,
  • parental support,
  • mental ill health,
  • crisis and change work.

The tasks may consist of individual conversations, family sessions, group activities, support measures, and motivational work. You will collaborate with other social services activities as well as external actors such as schools, healthcare, police, and other partners to achieve the best possible results for those we meet.

You will become part of a developing work environment where we strive to be accessible, professional, and legally secure. Some field work may occur, as well as a smaller portion of work during evenings and weekends. Some authority-related tasks may also be included.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • a degree in social work, behavioral science education, or other education that the employer deems equivalent,
  • experience in social work, preferably with treatment and change work,
  • good ability to work both independently and together with others,
  • good ability to express yourself in speech and writing,
  • Category B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with harmful use and addiction, violence in close relationships, children and families, conversation techniques, or other treatment-oriented methods.

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on personal suitability. To succeed in the role, you need to be secure, stable, and have good self-insight. You find it easy to create and maintain trusting relationships and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and external actors. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt your working method based on the individual's needs and the operation's conditions. You work systematically, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a professional approach even in complex situations.

Other Information

Ånge Municipality offers health vouchers worth 2000 SEK/year via Epassi, health hour, and the possibility of holiday exchange. We also offer external supervision. Employment requires a valid extract from the suspicion and criminal record register. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis.
