Nytida Foster Care is now looking for a Family Home Consultant for Västernorrland/Gävleborg

About the Role
We are looking for a Family Home Consultant who wants to become part of our growing team in Västernorrland and Gävleborg. You will work together with family home consultants, foster home investigators, placement coordinators, and unit managers in an operation characterized by engagement, quality, and collaboration. The role involves significant personal responsibility, but you will simultaneously have support from experienced colleagues and an organization that values reasonable workload and high quality in the work.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Guide and support foster homes in their assignments.
- Recruit, investigate, and train foster homes.
- Participate in the matching process between foster homes and placement requests.
- Collaborate, document, and report back to the client both in writing and orally.
- Plan and implement training and recruitment efforts for foster homes.
The position involves regular travel, which means a category B driver's license is required.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you who are educated as a social worker (socionom) or have another equivalent academic education.
To succeed in the role, we believe you:

- Are secure, responsible, and accustomed to working independently.
- Have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- Are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships.
- Have good administrative skills and express yourself well in speech and writing.
Previous experience in foster care, social work, or public administration is an advantage.
